Welcome to Rainbow Rhythm, where every child's journey is embraced with love and understanding. Founded by parents Brooke and Drae Burns, their story is deeply rooted in a quest to create a brighter future for their son Kobe and children like him.
In Milwaukee, WI the need for resources and support for children on the autism spectrum is significant. With long waitlists and limited options available, families often find themselves facing barriers to accessing the care and services their children deserve. In fact, statistics show that in Milwaukee, a growing number of children are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder each year, yet the resources to support them remain scarce.
Determined to make a difference
Our mobile sensory kits and sensory activations bring the joy of sensory play directly into neighborhoods across Milwaukee. We believe every child deserves a space where they can feel comfortable, curious, and free to be themselves especially families who may face barriers to accessing sensory-friendly experiences and services.
Through our Sensory Activations and open play sessions, we create opportunities for children to explore, move, play, and connect in safe and inclusive environments where their differences are not only welcomed, but celebrated.
And we’re dreaming bigger. Our goal is to create Milwaukee’s first soft-play sensory gym in the heart of the city, a warm, welcoming space where children of all abilities can come to play, regulate, explore, build confidence, and simply be themselves. This would be more than a play space; it would be a place for families to feel seen, supported, and connected.

Our Pet Therapy Program
Rainbow Rhythm Pet Sensory Saturday is designed to create a welcoming, supportive environment where children can connect with therapy animals while enjoying sensory-friendly activities. Kobe’s journey inspired Rainbow Rhythm’s commitment to animal-assisted experiences, highlighting how a support pet can provide comfort, companionship, confidence, and happiness. This event builds on that vision by bringing those meaningful connections to children and families in an inclusive community setting. pet, which brought comfort, companionship, and joy into his life. Inspired by this transformative experience, Rainbow Rhythm now proudly offers Pet Therapy Thursdays, where children can interact with therapy animals and experience the healing power of animal-assisted therapy.
